“Fire Chief Guilbault advised that on Saturday, November 7

 

the staff from Fire Protection Survey Services conducted tests for the City’s superior shuttle certification. The following halls will now be

recognized as having completed the superior tanker shuttle certification:

Bobcaygeon

►

Dunsford

►

Emily

►

Omemee

►

Ops

►

Little Britain

►

Oakwood

Anyone living within 8 km. of any of these fire halls may now receive a discount on their home

insurance (insurance company dependant). The fire departments were able to pump at 415 Imperial

gallons per minute with all tests which will also change the commercial insurance rates for any

businesses within 5 km. of any of these fire halls. The results will be posted on the Fire Protection

Survey Services website (

www.fpss.ca) for insurance companies to view. The fire department will

continue to work towards full coverage throughout the City for superior tanker shuttle certification as

the rolling stock permits.”

Get two plants, and set both of them in two different locations. One plant should be put in a box with a light so it can grow. The other plant should be put in a dark box so it will not grow.
